Eutectic Cold Plate Systems will outperform a conventional route truck in every way, which means huge savings of operation costs.
Quicker recovery time
Lower temperature
Virtually no maintenance
Longevity
And now with our innovative AL2 Beams, we are able to provide even more advantages over the conventional eutectic cold plate systems.
AL2 Beams are 30% lighter than the cold plates, which mean the body can be easily mounted on more economically operating GVW vehicles. This provides a great savings cost for the client, not to mention the ecological benefits of smaller, more efficient motors.
Increased payload is also achieved by allowing the body to reach freezing temperatures in less time than conventional cold plates. This means a savings of electrical energy as less connected time is required to solidify the solution and to reach the energy storage temperature of -30F. This temperature will allow for a full day of product distribution.
Another option that Cold Car USA has available is our proven Quick Connect Remote System. This option removes the refrigeration unit from the truck, reducing the body equipment weight, allowing it to be stored at depot. When the truck returns to depot for restocking, the unit is easily and quickly connected to the body and brings the temperature back to transport temperatures. The system is designed so the connect and disconnect can be done quickly and easily and built-in protections virtually eliminate any loss of cooling fluids. This application provides several advantages over a truck mounted refrigeration unit:
With the weight reduction, the vehicle is capable of increasing its net payload so more product is available for route sales.
Fuel consumption should be improved due to the lighter equipment weight.
Remote system protects the refrigeration unit from the abuse of road wear and tear and the possibility of collision damaging accidents.
Higher out-put of the condensing unit is achieved as the condenser is always clean (no mud, leaves or other debris is captured while on the road).
No down time or disruption of route service when it is time to service the refrigeration unit since it is kept at the depot.
